Athens Greek Schools
Athens Greek School Facilities:
Located in the city center, next to the National Archeological Museum. The school's central location offers easy access to public transportation, the park "Pedio tou Areos" and many restaurants, bars and cafeterias. Housed in a modern building with British-Hellenic College, the school offers air-conditioned classrooms, video and audio capabilities, a small library and computer rooms with free internet access.
What We Like:

- School organizes some activities
- Cosmopolitan city with much to offer
- Diverse country with much to see
What We Don't Like:
- Often more than 1 student per host family
- Usually, a 30-minute metro ride to school
- Many tourists in Athens
Participants:
Mixed nationalities, mainly from the US and Western Europe. Many professionals, but also university students and independent travelers. Also Greek students study at the British-Hellenic College housed in the same building.
Other Program Info:
School strongly encourages self-study in their Language/Computer Lab as an integral part of the program.
