and we have taken a serious of steps to

Subscription Lists
We offer a number of free
subscriptions to e-newsletters and
e-lists. You are NEVER required to
sign up for any of these lists.
Additionally,
we use fully-verified
opt-in to prevent spam and
ensure that any emails sent to you are
because you have specifically requested
it. Anyone can type an email address
that does not belong to them into a form
for more information. Only verified
opt-in ensures that the email address
entered actual belongs to the person who

Information Do We Collect?
We collect information from you
to help us personalize and improve your
AmeriSpan experience, to process your
online requests, and to send you
communications to which you have
Subscribed. You are required to give
contact information (such as name and
email address). We use this information
to contact you about the services on our
site in which you have expressed
interest.
In addition, when you register for a
program, we collect demographic
information (age, occupation, school,
etc) for our own internal use and the
internal use of partner schools and host
families. This information helps to
accurately describe the types of
participants in each program we offer
and give some general information about
you, the participant, to the schools and
host families where you will attend.
This sharing of information is a quality
control measure which helps insure the
best matches in various program
components (lodging, instructors, etc).
This information collected is limited to
use within AmeriSpan and its partner
schools world-wide. AmeriSpan does not
sell contact information to third
parties.
At this time, we also collect your
credit card information, including
credit card holder name, credit
card number, expiration date, CVV and
billing address. This information
is saved on a secure server; please
refer to the How Secure is My Personal
Information? section below.
All the credit card information collected is limited to
use within AmeriSpan and is not used
without your written authorization.
Tell-A-Friend
If you
choose to use
our referral service to tell a friend
about our site, we will ask you
for your friend’s name and email
address. We will automatically send
your friend a one-time email inviting
him or her to visit the site. AmeriSpan
stores this information for the sole
purpose of sending this one-time email
and tracking the success of our referral
program. Your friend may contact us at
info@amerispan.com to request that
we remove this information from our
database.
AmeriSpan is the
sole owner of the information collected

www.amerispan.com . AmeriSpan
collects personally identifiable
information from our users at several
