Academic Credit: Volunteer/Intern Program

Make your international experience doubly worthwhile! Did you know that you can earn academic credit for international work experiences? Through the Seattle Central Community College you can earn academic credit for your international work experience and also for the language classes that you may take in-country. 

Credit for Volunteering & Internships

Earn academic credit for international work experiences through Seattle Central Community College's Cooperative Education Program. Academic credit is granted for successful completion of a volunteer/internship experience, language school attendance, and/or  research activities. You may earn up to 15 quarter hour credits (5 quarter hours = 3.3 semester credits) dependent upon duration of work experience.

You do have to enroll and pay course fees at the SCCC. Below information gives you the outline of the steps you need to undertake.
