Important note regarding
Mexico:
Guanajuato, Mexico City, Oaxaca, Playa del Carmen, Puerto Vallarta
locations. The Chancellor of Brookhaven College has suspended the
Multinational Academic Program (MAP) with Partner Language Institutes within the
country of Mexico until further notice in response to the U.S Department of
State travel warning to Mexico, effective July 23, 2010. Subsequently,
Brookhaven College will not grant any credit hours and/or accept portfolios of
work from students who have gained or seek to gain language abilities in Mexico
through the MAP program.
Important note regarding
Egypt:
Cairo. The Chancellor of Brookhaven College has suspended
the Multinational Academic Program (MAP) with Partner Language Institutes within
the country of Egypt until further notice. Subsequently, Brookhaven
College will not grant any credit hours and/or accept portfolios of work from
students who have gained or seek to gain language abilities in Egypt
through the MAP program.
Important to receive credit students must complete the corresponding number of
weeks assuming a minimum of 20 contact hours per week. To receive credit
for program offering less than 20 contact hours per week, you will need to study
for longer. The Brookhaven course fees are separate from the AmeriSpan tuition
fees for the above mentioned locations.

Academic Credit After indicating your desire to receive credit from Brookhaven College for your AmeriSpan program, we will alert Brookhaven College. Our academic credit liaison at Brookhaven College will assist you in obtaining transferable academic credit. You will receive an email from Brookhaven College and will need to do the following: |
