Mexico Volunteer Placement

Since 2001 the Casa Hogar Hijos de la Luna has cared for more than 100 children from 3 weeks to 12 years old. They came from a very poor environment. The main goal of this organization is to make the kids feel cared, loved and provide them with a safe place.

Mexico Overview

Placement Tasks:
Volunteers will be in direct contact with the children, playing with them, provide them with the basic education, clothes, psychological, medical, dental care and organizing games and activities.

Work Schedule: Arranged on site

Location of Placements: Oaxaca

Lodging: Volunteer Residence, shared room, self catering

• Minimum age: 18 years.
• Minimum commitment: 4 weeks.
• Minimum Spanish level: Mid-Intermediate
• Take at least 2 weeks of General Spanish course
• Provide love, care, and attention to the children.
