Guanajuato Cervantes Festival Mexico Volunteer Placement
The International Cervantes Festival is one of the most important cultural festivals in Latin America and by far the most important festival in Mexico. Each year, the festival brings numerous cultural activities to Guanajuato, including concerts, plays, and exhibitions. The Ministry of Culture is responsible for organizing these events as well as providing transportation and accommodations for the guest artists and performers, government staff, volunteers, and the publc.
Volunteers can provide assistance to any of the activities that are being organized, in addition to training other volunteers and helping with the general administrative organization of the festival. Participants that speak other languages, such as English, French, German, and Italian, are especially helpful.
Work Schedule: June-October, Monday-Friday 9:00a.m.-1:00p.m. or 4:00p.m.-8:00p.m.

Requirements:
- Minimum age: 21 years.
- Minimum commitment: 10 weeks.
- Minimum Spanish level: Mid-Intermediate

- This placement only runs from June-October and participants must provide at least a 10 week committment.
