Wildcats Rescue Center Costa Rica Volunteer Placement
This rescue center provides volunteers with hands on contact with cougars, ocelots, and jaguars, as well as exotic birds. This is a great project for volunteers hoping to increase the vetrinary or biology skills they already posess while enriching their knowledge of wild animals.
Volunteers can help out by feeding the animals, cleaning and preparing new bird cages, aiding with infastructure maintenance, give tours through the center, and develop special proects.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday. Specific hours are determined on site.
Location of Placements: Guanacaste
Lodging: Residence
Requirements:
- Minimum age: 18 years.
- Minimum commitment: 4 weeks.
- Minimum Spanish level: Low-Intermediate
Important Things to Consider:
- Volunteers must bring their own sheets.
- Volunteers will need to complete an additional application on site.
- Because the project is 4 hours from Heredia, you will stay at a residence at the rescue center.
Other Comments:
The maximum number of volunteers that this organization accepts is 1-2.
