India, Kenya & Brazil Medical Programs
 Did you know AmeriSpan offers medical language and volunteer programs in India, Kenya and Brazil. You can even study Hindi and Portuguese.
In Brazil, your first 2 weeks include Portuguese & medical terminology classes and topical lectures related to medicine in Brazil followed by two weeks of a healthcare-related service learning placement.
In India, you'll start with an orientation week including Hindi classes followed by 1 or more weeks of a healthcare-related placements.
Kenya participants will spend Tuesday and Thursday in the Nairobi slums involved in the community support program. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, those with medical experience will go to Kikuyu hospital or a government hospital. Those who wish to do social work or who do not have medical experience will go to orphanages in Limuru.
