Animals Refuge Venezuela Volunteer Placement

Though initially created as a tourist attraction, this zoo now acts of more of an animal refuge for sick and injured animals. The ultimate aim is to rehabilitate these wild creatures so that they may be returned to their natural habitats.
Volunteers will have the option to work with aquatic life at the aquarium or land animals at the sanctuary. No matter which animals you chose to work with, the tasks will be similar; feeding and cleaning the animals and maintaining their cages and surroundings. In addition, volunteers will assist the organization's vet care for all the creatures.
Work Schedule: Half days, either morning or afternoon.

Lodging: Residence
Requirements:
- Minimum age: 18 years.
- Minimum commitment: 4 weeks.
- Minimum Spanish level: Low-Intermediate

The maximum number of volunteers that this organization accepts is 1-2.
