This is a non-profit social and humanitarian organization devoted to developing programs which enhance the life conditions of those in need, living in large cities of the developing world. A strong focus is on single mothers and their children.
Volunteers assist in teaching courses focused on personal growth, self-esteem and civil rights. Volunteers also assist in counseling and tutoring based on their skills.
Work Schedule: Varies. Arranged on-site.
Location of Placements: Sao Paulo (various sites)
Lodging: Student Apartment
Requirements:
- Minimum age: 18 years.
- Minimum commitment: 6 weeks.
- Minimum Portuguese level: Low-Beginner
- Lots of patience, energy and creativity.
- Open-minded attitude.
