This medical center specializes in treating adolescents and young adults, ages 12-30, suffering from mental handicaps, such as autism, psychosis, and neurological diseases.
Interns will assist patients and monitor their progress. There will be weekly meetings with other staff to share information and collaborate with the therapeutic team.
Work Schedule: Determined on site.
Location of Placements: Cordoba
Lodging: Residence
Requirements:
- Minimum age: 18 years.
- Minimum commitment: 8 weeks.
- Minimum Spanish level: Mid-Intermediate
- Previous psychology, teaching, art, or psychotherapy studies.
Other Comments:
The maximum number of volunteers that this organization accepts is 1-2.
