This program is 4 weeks and includes: 4 weeks, 4 hours/day Private Classes, Medical terminology during your classes, 2 weeks clinical observation in a hospital or clinic, private room in host family, 3 meals daily, and airport pickup in La Ceiba.

Requirements
Your Spanish level must be High-Beginner or higher. This program is open to the following: 1st year Med Student, 2nd year Med Student, 3rd year Med Student, 4th year Med Student, Nurses, Other Health Professionals, Physician Assistants.

More About The Location
Honduras shares borders with Nicaragua, Guatemala and El Salvador. The country is home to the Bay Islands and spectacular coral reefs attracting scuba divers from everywhere. Historically, the Mayans were prevalent in some parts of the country and their influence continues today. Despite a stable political situation and low cost of living, Honduras is largely undiscovered by tourists. With a seemingly endless stretch of deserted beaches, jungles, mountains, and Mayan ruins, Honduras has much to offer.The largest of the Honduran port towns (population 80,000), La Ceiba is located on the Northern Caribbean at the foot of the towering 5000-foot Pico Bonito, Honduras’ largest national park. It has excellent access to the Bay Islands (20 minutes by plane) and is known as the 'fun city' of Honduras thanks to movies, dancing, and restaurants. With beaches, nearby Garifuna villages, Pico Bonito, and a small airport, La Ceiba is increasingly becoming discovered by tourists and eco-tourists.
