Aix-en-Provence, France
Aix-en-Provence (pop. 150,000) is an ancient spa and a university town in the heart of Provence, located in the south of France near the seaside as well as the mountains. Of roman origin, Aix-en-Provence is a small picturesque city known for its rich architectural heritage. The city center is lively with many fountains, sidewalk cafes on tree-lined streets and open air markets. During the summer months, Aix-en-Provence hosts at least four festivals including the famous International Arts and Music Festival every July. Easily accessible by train or bus, Aix-en-Provence serves as a natural hub of Europe’s most attractive tourist region.
This course gives non-native teachers of French an opportunity to update language skills while staying connected to French language and civilization. The course will follow the social and cultural evolutions of contemporary France. Participants will practice dynamic teaching techniques to refresh and reinforce French language skills.
