Learning Spanish abroad in Caracas, Venezuela is one of many language immersion programs offered by AmeriSpan. Venezuela is located on the northern coast of South America and enjoys a tropical climate year-round attracting tourists from Germany, Italy, Spain and North America. About half the country is forest, including rainforest. Venezuela boasts countless paradise-like islands along its nearly 1,800 miles of coastline. In addition, the country has a well-developed infrastructure, 35 national parks, and Angel Falls, the world’s highest waterfall.

With year-round spring-like weather, this cosmopolitan city has much to offer. Caracas is full of shiny skyscrapers, fine restaurants, elegant shops and one of the best subway systems in the world.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Recent political turmoil has caused a higher risk to personal safety in this destination. We
recommend that you check with the
US State
Department and other government agencies before choosing this program. This
is not a location for people with little or no international travel experience.
School Facilities:
The school is located in Chacao, one of the safest neighborhoods in Caracas. It is a respectable commercial and residential area east of the city center with offices, stores, and a Metro station just few steps away. There are also a great variety of restaurants and bars in the area. The school is within walking distance to the Parque del Este and the Centro Comercial Sambil, the largest shopping mall of its kind in Venezuela.
