Also, the optional afternoon activities that my school offered were excellent, and it was just nice to have these organized activities as an option, already planned and ultimately incredibly informational when attended.

I absolutely loved my time in Costa Rica. It is an amazing university with an amazing Spanish Abroad program. I would recommend anyone, with any level of Spanish to attend. You'll come home not only practically fluent, but you'll wish you stayed longer.

It was mind opening to be in a different culture and not just as a tourist who stays for a week and never gets an understanding of the culture.
