College Study Abroad
Application Process
Thank you for choosing an AmeriSpan
College Study Abroad (CSA) program!
We want the application process to be clear and easy. If you don't have an application, download
it here:
College
Study Abroad Application (pdf) or
Register Online here.
Step One – Make sure you meet the minimum requirements! Many of our programs do not require previous language study.
Step Two – Make
sure that your school will accept the credit for the
program you have chosen. We strongly suggest that you
make an appointment with your school’s study abroad
department for guidelines. While you are there, please
have the study abroad advisor sign the
Permission to
Study Abroad Form.
Step Three - Register for the program with plenty of time (8 weeks or more before your planned start date).
Don't wait until the deadline, programs get full and not
all students are accepted.
You may
Register Online, by regular mail, by fax or by
scanning in your application and uploading it at
Upload Documents.
NOTE: when registering online, you
will have the ability to upload your transcripts,
Permission to
Study Abroad Form and other documents or you may provide these later.
Carefully read the Terms & Conditions and the Study
Abroad Checklist. A complete application will have the
following:
- Copy of your most recent transcript (OK to apply
with unofficial transcripts but some universities
require official transcripts)
-
2 letters of recommendation
faxed, email, mailed or
submitted to AmeriSpan via the online reference form

to an additional $75 late registration fee.

either the Foreign University or a U.S. accredited institution
(Title IV) depending on the program.
- If needed, AmeriSpan can provide any course descriptions.
- AmeriSpan is happy to sign consortium agreements or assist in
any other manner to help you obtain any Financial Aid
