This program is ideal for people who want to add an element of cultural flair to their immersion program by taking part in learning the traditional Flamenco dance of Spain. The students in addition to having standard Spanish classes, will also spend 8 hours/week at the language school studying with top Flamenco dance instructors. In the beginning of the course, about 15% of the time is spent the studying origins and history of Flamenco.
Known as the jewel of the Costa del Sol, this coastal resort town is located about an hour south of Malaga. The small curvy streets and white washed colonial style buildings make Marbella a picturesque vacation spot. One finds many boutiques, restaurants, and bars in town as well as along the beach.
From its dazzling beaches to its ancient castles, Spain is a country as diverse as the cultures which have influenced its art, architecture, music and lifestyle. It is a land where cathedrals and castles are interspersed with skyscrapers, where modern rock mixes with flamenco guitar, and night clubs compete with cozy "tapas" bars. Spain offers some of the world's most famous museums, resorts, and festivals, making it a unique and enchanting destination.

Other: You may also take this program in Madrid or Seville. Participants with zero or very little Spanish skills have commented that the theory part of the course is difficult and a bit frustrating. Students may need to purchase the following items: Flamenco shoes, Flamenco skirt and leotard. The cost is approximately $150.
Airport pickup (Malaga): $135 or $100/each if 2 or more people.
