The Guanacaste province is widely regarded as the most consistent surf in the country. The Spanish and Surfing program is offered year round and you can book as many weeks as you wish. Beginning surf students will be introduced to the basics of paddling, standing and turning, along with wave selection and other fundamental skills. Participants with previous experience can be taken on guided surf sessions in the area of Jaco/Hermosa Beach.

Jaco's proximity as the closest real beach town to San Jose makes it an extremely popular weekend destination for residents from the capital region. In addition to fantastic surf conditions, Jaco offers endless opportunities for water sports and other outdoor activities, as well as a bustling nightlife.

Students are mostly from the US and Europe, with average ages between 18 and 35.
