Visits to the cultural attractions in the surroundings are included, such as markets, churches, museums, theatres, cultural centers, city halls, sport facilities, town fairs and festivities.
Placed in the centre of a valley, surrounded by volcanoes, Quito is one the highest (over the sea level) capital cities in South America.
The city has the best preserved historic centre in all Latin America and it was declared by UNESCO World Heritage Site. Quito is also a vibrant and comfortable city, where you can enjoy going out in the afternoon, have drink with the locals, and feel the relaxed and warm Ecuador!!
Ecuador was named for its position on the Equator and is bordered by Colombia, Peru and the Pacific Ocean. Not many countries as small as Ecuador have such diverse climate regions. This country has the tallest active volcano in the world, great white sand beaches, tropical rain forests, deep crevasses, colorful Indian markets and is well known for its social and political stability.
