Secondary School Affiliate Program
Overview
In exchange for Secondary School faculty
being familiar with AmeriSpan Study
Abroad programs, AmeriSpan's Secondary School
Affiliate Program provides
financial contributions to the Secondary School.
Use this money to provide scholarships to a financially disadvantaged
students, send faculty abroad for training,
and/or to purchase additional texts/materials needed in the classroom.
What Are The Benefits
- Contributions
to Secondary School –
Initially, your office will
receive $200 after the first student
from
your institution enrolls in an AmeriSpan program.
Ongoing, your office will
receive $200 for every additional
three students (or their
family members) who
participate on any AmeriSpan
program.
- Faculty
Discounts – All
faculty will receive an automatic 10% discount on most AmeriSpan programs including Language Immersion, Volunteer/Intern and MAESTRO programs after the first student is enrolled.
This discount increases to 15% if more than 20 students are enrolled during one academic year.
- Faculty
Training/Site Visits – If enrollment during one year exceeds
any combination of 15 AmeriSpan programs, AmeriSpan will provide the designated person one free MAESTRO program including airfare. Upon request, the MAESTRO program may be exchanged for a one week language immersion program.

– we strongly believe students
have as wide of a selection as
possible. Our affiliate
program is non-exclusive and in
no way requires you to only
represent AmeriSpan programs.
Our goal is to let your students
know about our programs.
Responsibilities of Secondary School
AmeriSpan
requires the appropriate staff at the
school be familiar with AmeriSpan Teenager
and Language Immersion programs and have
brochure supplies on hand. At least
once per academic year, AmeriSpan will
have an informational meeting with
interested parents, students and faculty
members.
