How To Invoke the Foreign Currency Guarantee

How We Calculate New Price

1. Adjust Local Currency Price - We need to convert to a US dollar price.  We use Oanda.com to find the highest daily median $/foreign currency rate during the previous 2 weeks.  Then we take this foreign currency rate and divide it by the $/euro exchange rate.  Then multiply this price by 1.05.  We add 5% because the median exchange rate is not obtainable in the real world unless the amounts are in the millions.  For example, when exchanging Dollars for Euros, you will pay a minimum of 3-5% (if you don't believe us, contact your local bank or a local travel office).   
2. Compare the two prices - if AmeriSpan's published price is higher than this new price then we adjust your price.

Notes & Rules

1. Only When Registering - To initiate the Foreign Currency Guarantee, you must tell us when you register. 
2. One Time Only - We calculate the price when we receive your application and it is a courtesy.  We will not be changing your price every time currency changes.   
3. Standard Language Programs Only - this guarantee is only valid for standard Language Programs.  All other program types (including fun programs) are excluded from this guarantee.
