AmeriSpan's Progr am for Spanish Teachers at the 1st Choice School in Madrid, Spain is
designed for Spanish teachers w ho w ish to expand u pon and update their knowledge of
second language methodologies and theories.
Through daily w orkshops and lectures, the progr am provides professional support, giving
and exchanging information on the development and new uses of Spanish. The course also
touches on the mos t controversia! formal aspects of Spanish gr ammar. The current cultural,
political, social, and economic situations in Spain are key elements of the progr am.
Malaga is a vibrant city located on the Costa del Sol coast with a real southern port atmosphere and a burgeoning cultural scene that offers extremely pleasant and stable weather throughout the year. It is the capital of Andalucia and the second largest city in the region. It is a city of sea and sand together with important heritage, monuments and museums. Pablo Picasso was born in Malaga and his most famous works can now be seen where it all began in the newly inaugurated Picasso Museum. Filled with narrow and winding cobblestone streets and magnificent plazas, Malaga is also known for its fine food, especially its excellent seafood.

From its dazzling beaches to its ancient castles, Spain is a country as diverse as the cultures which have influenced its art, architecture, music and lifestyle. It is a land where cathedrals, roman ruins and arabic kashbas are interspersed with skyscrapers, where modern rock mixes with flamenco guitar, and night clubs compete with cozy "tapas" bars.
It is easy to travel, the climate is generally benign, people is friendly, relaxed and fun-loving.
And of course is the home contry of the second largest speaked language in the world: Spanish.
The more you travel through Spain, the more you get the differences between regions, you will realize how many Spains there are.
From hot, dry, home of bullfigting and flamenco Andalucia, to fertile Cataluņa, to the mainland Castilla to the mediterranean coast of Levante facing the laving on the Mediterranean sea.
Spain offers some of the world's most famous museums, resorts, and festivals, making it a unique and enchanting destination.
Through daily workshops and lectures, the program provides professional support, giving and exchanging information on the development and new uses of Spanish. The course also touches on the most controversial formal aspects of Spanish grammar. The current cultural, political, social, and economic situations in Spain are key elements of the program.
All courses have a USD 100 registration fee (Not Refundable)
Note: Accommodation is available Sunday to Saturday, Saturday to Friday (Jordan and Egypt) or
Saturday to Saturday (Tokyo) - all other days will have extra charge
