CHINA is more than a country – it is a whole different world, from shop-till-you-drop metropolises to the epic grasslands of Inner Mongolia, with deserts, sacred peaks, astounding caves and imperial ruins in between. In China you can volunteer in various rural locations near Guangxi and Chengdu.
Guilin County can be considered one of the most beautiful areas of China. There is a popular saying that goes, "Guilin boasts the most beautiful scenery under Heaven,". There are green hills and fields, forests of peaks and pinnacles and the beautiful Li River winding through the city. From Guilin to Yangshuo, the river travels 83 kilometers with both shores decorated with numerous green hills. It is a poetic and picturesque environment in which one cannot help but feel relaxed and refreshed. Volunteer placements can be arranged in such areas as panda conservation, teaching in village schools, ESL and farming.
China Volunteer Locations:
Various locations. For Panda project, fly to Chengdu, all others, fly to Guangxi.
China Language Classes:
4 hrs/day group (max 8-12) Chinese classes

The projects are very rural, so be prepared for basic conditions and long travels for shopping, etc.
