Teach English Thailand Volunteer Placement

- Volunteer Only
In Thailand, there is a growing trend among teenagers to learn English, but both primary and secondary schools are struggling to meet this demand for education. Though most schools have up to 10 language teachers, usually only 1 or 2 actually speak fluently. English-speaking volunteers are needed, not only to teach language but to arrange extra-curricular activities as well.
Volunteers will teach Monday-Friday at primary and secondary schools, focusing on vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and especially conversational English, which is currently lacking in the lesson plan. A great way to teach the children is through songs, translating popular stories, and performing plays. Those working in secondary schools will also be expected to assist with other language classes, such as German, French, and Italian. In addition, all volunteers will help arrange extra-curricular and sports activities.
