The St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry is an NGO that aims to assist the regional economy by helping Russian businessmen. The organization protects their interests while also providing necessary business services.
Interns will act as assistants to project managers, aiding in the organization of activities and conferences, as well as establishing new partners in the UK. The main duties include preparing presentations for the firm, notifying members of events and sending invitations, advertising, translating, maintaining the existing contacts and marketing new partners, and promoting new projects.
Work Schedule: 8 hours per day.
Location of Placements: St. Petersburg
Lodging: Homestay with private room and 2 meals or private room in shared apartmenrt with no meals during class. Apartment with no meals during placement.
Requirements:
- Minimum age: 20 years.
- Minimum commitment: 4 weeks.
- Minimum Russian level: Low-Intermediate
- Some college experience
- Advanced computer skills
- Please apply at least 3 months in advance.
Important Things to Consider:
- You will need to read Russian as well as answer phone calls.
- Minimum commitment is 4 weeks class, 4 weeks placement

The maximum number of volunteers that this organization accepts is 1-2.
