One of AmeriSpan's partner language schools specializing in teaching Spanish to foreigners.
The placement gives you the opportunity to work closely with the administration and student body of this language school. Assist in a variety of administrative tasks (including reservations/confirmations/e-mail inquiries), help attend to students' needs, as well as working with volunteers and the volunteer organizations directly.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday full-time. (schedule arranged on-site).
Location of Placements: Cusco
Lodging: Free housing and stipend for food provided.
Requirements:
- Minimum age: 18 years.
- Minimum commitment: 8 weeks.
- Minimum Spanish level: High-Intermediate
- College degree
- Prior experience living abroad, particularly in a developing country.
- Native or nearly native English.
- Good public relations skills.
- Related experience, computer literate, highly organized/efficient
Important Things to Consider:
- Volunteers are expected to dress and behave professionally.
- Work schedule such as for a regular full-time job.
