This is a government organization that works for the conservation of the Yucatan peninsula. The organization promotes protection, conservation and education relating to natural resources and the environment. It supports and conducts research in various environmental and wildlife areas.
Your daily tasks will be assigned after meeting with the staff on-site. Volunteers assist with office work such as research, translations, filing and other basic needs. Volunteers also spend time in the field helping with data collection, maintenance and assisting the scientists. Specific project information constantly changes depending on the season and current funding.
Work Schedule: Varies. Usually 6 days/week.
Location of Placements: Yucatan
Lodging: Homestay during classes. Volunteer lodging during placement.

- At least one week of language classes are recommended, in order to meet with the on-site staff.

The maximum number of participants that this organization accepts is 5.
