Mexico Volunteer Placement
This public school provides secondary education to students from ages 13-15. In addition to the childrens' daily education, they also encorporate English as a foreign language.
Volunteers will act as assistants to the English teachers and will help organize extra-curricular activities for the students and arrange meetings with teachers to discuss class organization and academic work.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday (hours vary)
Location of Placements: Guanajuato
Lodging: Host family
Requirements:
- Minimum age: 21 years.
- Minimum commitment: 4 weeks.
- Minimum Spanish level: Mid-Intermediate
- Native English speaker
Important Things to Consider:
- This placement is only available from January-June and September-November.
Other Comments:
The maximum number of volunteers that this organization accepts is 3-5.
