The wide spread of HIV/AIDS in Kenya has left many children without a family. Volunteers are sought to provide tutoring, home schooling, and extra-curricular activities to children in need.
Volunteers will teach basic hygene to the children, by helping them brush their teeth, shower, and other daily tasks. During the day, the children attend school at the orphanage, so you will help out with tasks, such as cleaning, cooking, and gardening. At night, you will tutor children by assisting with homework and monitoring their academic progress. Volunteers will also organize evening activities for the children, such as game nights, singing, and art classes.
