Guatemala Volunteer Placement

This health Center was established by an Italian couple which is commited to their dream to provide help to those most in need. The Center provides help in the main services as Medicine, Dentistry, Dermatology, etc. The organization combines the Medical Health Center with the educational projects for the kids from 4-12yo.

Guatemala Overview

Placement Tasks:
Care and assist to ill people, Assist on rehabilitation activities, Get involved with the implications and treatments of different diseases, Assist the staff and other volunteers on routine duties

Work Schedule: Usually 6 hours shifts in the morning

Location of Placements: Antigua

Lodging: Volunteer Residence, shared room

• Minimum age: 18 years.
• Minimum commitment: 2 weeks.
• Minimum Spanish level: Mid-Intermediate
• Be motivated, patient, resourceful, willing to help
• Skills to work with ill people
• Health insurance, accident and liability
• Commitment to the Host Organization, its rules and tasks
• Medical skills prefered
