Founded in 1991, this daycare center provides shelter, education, and nutrition to 80 poor children in the ages 0-15 years old. 35 children are between the ages of 0-6. They stay in the center all day. Families with limited economic resources constantly face problems such as inadequate housing, malnutrition, illiteracy, early pregnancy, drug and alcohol abuse, domestic violence and poor health. The children who live day-to-day in this environment are deeply affected, and this is why this project exists. The vision is to provide a constant refuge where the children feel secure and have access to education (pre-school and after school homework help and activities), food and medical care. They strive to break the cycle and bring love and hope to the children. At lunch time, the 40 older (7-15 yrs old) children who in the morning join local schools, come to the lunch program, for homework help, and to play. All children receive breakfast, lunch, and a snack at the center.

Help the director with planning, organizing and carrying out activities, help with homework, play with the kids, help in the kitchen with food prep and cleaning, etc. The children are very affecionate and want lots of attention and love.
