Under the motto "let us make a light at the end of the tunnel" this hospice is a place to live for terminally ill people, especially HIV/Aids patients. It was founded in 1998, and now there are around 32 children (0-11 years) and 10 adults living in the hospice. It is one of the only Aids Hospices in Guatemala. The hospice provides housing, clothing, food, medical and humanitarian attention to people who have mostly been abandoned elsewhere. They try to do as much as they can with their limited financial means.
