One of the biggest & most well known girls' public high schools in the city. It's located only 20 minutes walking distance from the language school.
ESL teacher responsible for planning and implementing classes to groups of various levels and ages.
Work Schedule: Varies.
Location of Placements: Quito (Calle Granaderos y Jose de Abascal.)
Lodging: Hostal (shared room, no meals). Homestay available at extra cost.
Requirements:
- Minimum age: 18 years.
- Minimum commitment: 12 weeks.
- Minimum Spanish level: High-Beginner
- University degree
- ESL certification and/or 2 years ESL experience
Important Things to Consider:
- Volunteers must be willing to speak lots of English!
- Although this school is better off than some, there are not lots of ESL teaching resources. Volunteers must be creative and/or bring own materials.
