This center is offers services to children of the indigenous population for free education on a range of subjects, including computer skills, math and history, and for childcare in its day care center.
Volunteers can work with the children in the school or day care center or if they don’t want to work with children directly, they can assist the staff with other duties such as preparing books, etc.
Work Schedule: The schedule is Monday-Friday from 08:00 to 12:30.
Location of Placements: Quito
Lodging: Hostal (shared room, no meals). Homestay available at extra cost.
Requirements:
- Minimum age: 18 years.
- Minimum commitment: 4 weeks.
- Minimum Spanish level: Low-Intermediate
