Ecuador Volunteer Placement
This nursing home provides care for Cuenca's elderly population.
Specific placement tasks will be determined upon confirmation/arrival.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00-12:00 p.m.
Location of Placements: Cuenca
Lodging: Homestay
Requirements:
- Minimum age: 18 years.
- Minimum commitment: 4 weeks.
- Minimum Spanish level: High-Intermediate
- Previous experience working with the elderly or in related fields, such as nursing, social work, or psychology.
Important Things to Consider:
- Some of the geriatrics you work with will require extensive aid in basic areas, such as hygiene and eating.
Other Comments:
The maximum number of volunteers that this organization accepts is 1-2.
