It is a non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of the tropical forest. Their mission is to conserve, preserve and rehabilitate tropical ecosystems and its biodiversity.
Founded in 1986 in Monteverde, it began a land purchase campaign to conserve the tropical forest. Currently, the organization has achieved the formation of the largest private reserve in Costa Rica: The Children´s Eternal Rain Forest (CERF). This has been possible thanks to the support of children, adults, schools and organizations around the world. Hundreds of thousands of trees have been planted as a result of their work and numerous research projects are on-going.
Volunteer tasks depend on interest.
