The newest art gallery in Costa Rica. It is the first one with a building designed specifically for art shows. They display a lot of contemporary Latin American art work. The owner has a extensive background in art and is a former editor for ArtNexus Magazine.
Help out in the gallery.
Mount and dismount art work.
Computer work as needed.
Help with show organization.
Work Schedule: 4 hours a day and Saturdays.
Location of Placements: Escazu, San Jose
Lodging: Homestay or Volunteer Residence.
Requirements:
- Minimum age: 18 years.
- Minimum commitment: 4 weeks.
- Minimum Spanish level: High-Beginner
- Interest in the art world
- Computer literacy (website design knowledge not required, but very helpful)
Important Things to Consider:
- There may be down time when it can be slow.
Other Comments:
The maximum number of volunteers that this organization accepts is 1.

1 hour commute by bus each way (about $1.50 round trip)
