National Volcano Park Costa Rica Volunteer Placement
This park observes an active volcano and its native flora and fauna, including trumpet trees, palms, howling monkeys, quetzals, and jaguars. Though the neighboring Arenal Lake is man-made, it is used to harvest hydroelectric electricity. Volunteers will find this a great opportunity to observe local fauna and aquire new skills.
