China Internship Placement

Volunteers will give local Chinese students the opportunity to practice speaking English. You will have the opportunity to choose from the following schools:
1. Tianshi Village School in Fengyan village
2. Lianhua Junior Middle school in Lianhua town
3. Longhu Primary School in Longhu village
4. Longhu Junior Middle school in Longhu village
5. Jiushigong Hope Primary school in Longhu village
6. Shile Primary school in Longhu village
7. Shijiang Primary school in Shijiang village
8. Minzu Primary school in Gongcheng town
9. Minzu Junior Middle School in Gongcheng town
Volunteers will work with local English teachers in-class, assist with homework and organize extracurricular activities as needed.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, Friday afternoon evaluation meeting
Location of Placements: Fengyan Village and surrounding area
Lodging: Accommodation will be at the volunteer center in shared bedrooms. All food is included and will be served at the center.

Important Things to Consider:
- Volunteers will work alongside with Chinese university students.
- Nearest Towns are Gongcheng Town, 20 mins by Bus. There are small shops for daily use commodities in the village.
- Many Banks of China and several ATM machines in Yangshuo town.
- There is an internet cafe located around 15 mins from the center.
Other Comments:
The maximum number of participants that this organization accepts is 15.
