Art Project for the Disadvantaged
Chile Volunteer Placement

This organization belives that art therapy can help those who are disadvantaged readapt into society. By raising self-esteem and promoting creativity through group art programs, the orginzation aims to improve social skills so that these people can establish new relationships.

The biggest aid the volunteers can contribute is to provide reassurance to the participants. Through education, therapy, and tools, you can help the community improve their situation.

Requirements:
  • Minimum age: 18 years.
  • Minimum commitment: 52 weeks.
  • Minimum Spanish level: Mid-Intermediate

  • This program requires a long term commitment, so do not apply unless your plans to visit Chile are definite.
