Chile Volunteer Placement
Created in 1993, this organization was founded as a specialized center for diagnosis and treatment of autistic childen. They provide education in special schools and support programs that integrate these children into regular schools. With six schools, the organization offers a disciplinary team of psychologists, therapists,kinesiologists, gym teachers, and music therapists all devoted to their work.
Though prior experience with special needs children is referred, volunteers can assist with whatever area they are most comfortable because there are a wide variety of activities.
Work Schedule: Determined on site.

Lodging: Residence
Requirements:
- Minimum age: 18 years.
- Minimum commitment: 4 weeks.
- Minimum Spanish level: Mid-Intermediate

The maximum number of volunteers that this organization accepts is 1-2.
