Customizable Internship in Montreal Canada Internship Placement
Options

- Internship
- Part-time volunteer
- Volunteer Only
An internship in Montreal offers you the best of both worlds. The third-largest city in Canada and the second-largest French-speaking city in the world, Montreal is a bilingual city in every sense of the word. The official language of Quebec is French, although Montreal is the center of English business for the province. Businesses here operate entirely in a bilingual world that exists in few other locations. Internships are a great way to explore the culture, use and improve your French and/or English skills and build your resume!
Customized internships are designed specifically for you and will match your education and work experience. We can arrange internships for you in many professional areas. Your application will be supported by a motivation letter which will help us place you in an organization where you can acquire experience relevant to your interests. You will apply and give your top 3 area choices, which will be used to search for a placement. Acceptance into a company is contingent upon a personal interview which you will have while you are taking your language classes. Students with a study permit will have more choices for placements than those with tourist status. You must arrange the permit on your own.
Students who obtain a study permit may select up to three of the following areas:
Accounting; Media; Community Services; Marketing / Advertising; Computers; Museums & Art Galleries; Fundraising; Retail / Sales; General Office; Tourism/Hospitality. Students who have a tourist status may select from the following areas: Community Services; General Office; Fundraising; Museums & Art Galleries.
