This Kindergarten is very popular in Sucre. It is situated just a 2 blocks away from the language school. There are 10 classrooms: 5 classrooms for preschool children (4/5 years old); and 5 classrooms for kindergarten (6 years old). The Director is a very enthusiastic woman and enjoys very much having volunteers to assist the children and teachers. There are about 300 students, 10 teachers and some assistants.
Volunteers are needed to interact with children as well as teachers. Volunteers assist teachers in their classes by helping the children to draw and cut with scissors; singing; teaching numbers/letters; playing with the children during recess, taking children to the bathroom, washing their hands, etc.
Work Schedule: Varies. The work schedule is usually in the mornings so you can have free afternoons.

Lodging: Homestay during classes. Volunteer lodging during placement.
