Argentina Volunteer Placement

There are a variety of childcare projects where you may help out, including orphanages, schools, after school programs, daycare centers and more. The volunteer tasks may vary from serving breakfast at a kindergarten, to playing football, to taking trips with teens. Your responsibilities may also include assisting the children with their homework.
Examples of tasks:
* Entertaining and playing with children.
* Assisting the regular staff with simple household duties.
* Reading stories and teaching songs.
* Serving meals and snacks.
* Changing diapers.
* Assisting the older children with their homework.
Work Schedule: TBD on-site. Usually around 20 hours per week unless you request otherwise.
Location of Placements: Buenos Aires or Cordoba
Lodging: Homestay during classes; volunteer lodging during placement.

Important Things to Consider:
- These projects are under staffed and under funded, and may not have the ability to give you specific directions each day.
- They take initiative and the ability of the volunteer to work independently.
