This NGO consists of three homes for children ages 3 to 13 years old who have been infected with HIV or who are suffering from AIDS. In every home there are about 10 children living and playing together and there is a great group of volunteers who take care of the children as well. The children have all different stories and some of them are placed in this project by judges who decide their home was no longer a suitable place to live. Some of them are placed with their brothers and sisters, while others are sick, but overall, they are just ordinary children who would like to have fun and live a better life.
Volunteers can help the children with their daily tasks or help the staff take care of the children. The project is growing and is planning to open a home for older children who find themselves in the same circumstances. Here, the children are quite vulnerable and attach themselves easily to the volunteers.
Work Schedule: 20-30 hours per week
