My Fundraising Story - Jacquelyn Cruz

I am a 21-year-old nursing student, waiting to graduate in December of this year. I was drawn to nursing because I love working with people and making a difference in someone's life. Another important aspect for me is that nursing is universal! Growing up in a military family, I was given the opportunity to live in different countries and have been itching to travel again ever since!

I will be studying in Cusco, Peru this summer to learn medical Spanish. Living in Southern California, I know that I will work with many Spanish speakers and what better way to learn then to immerse myself in a new culture and language. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
