Barcelona (Agora) Summer Camp
From its dazzling beaches to its ancient castles, Spain is a country as diverse as the cultures which have influenced its art, architecture, music and lifestyle. It is a land where cathedrals and castles are interspersed with skyscrapers, where modern rock mixes with flamenco guitar, and night clubs compete with cozy "tapas" bars. Spain offers some of the world's most famous museums, resorts, and festivals, making it a unique and enchanting destination.Barcelona offers the best of both worlds: beach-side fun and all the cultural attractions of one of Europe's most admired cities. A hub for fashion, design, music, cuisine and the arts. It also provides a great opportunity for young people to discover the peculiarities of Catalonia and Catalan culture, gaining a unique understanding of Spain's regional differences.

School Facilities: Barcelona summer camp is located just outside of the city center in a privileged area of Barcelona. It boasts easy access to the city, thanks to its proximity to the metro (FGC) stop Mundet. The camp consists of a modern residence where students will both stay and attend their language classes. The camp facilities include a spacious garden/terrace, sports facilities, a dining hall and numerous common areas: game room, TV room, computer room, study room, etc.
Participants will stay in the residence dormitories, which consist of 3- and 4-person rooms, all of which have a private bathroom. All meals are provided in the school’s dining halls and/or cafeteria.
Activities/Excursions: Participants will have a range of afternoon and evening activities free of charge to choose from. These include: many sports activities (soccer, basketball, volleyball), recreational activities (treasure hunts, camp discos, music shows) and cultural workshops (cooking, theatre, dance & journalism). Weekend excursions are also included in the program. Optional tennis.
Lodging & Meals: Dormitory/residence with 4 meals/day
Supervision: This summer camp program is a very structured program with many activities. Free time each day is built into the camp schedule. However, most participants are not able to leave the camp premises unaccompanied and must abide by camp staff rules and regulations pertaining to lights out, policies and procedures, etc. There will be a camp counselor available for every group of 10 to 12 students. The counselor will remain with the group on a 24 hour a day basis and will take care of any individual needs each participant may have.
To/From School: Language classes held on campus grounds.
