During the 18th to 20th centuries, Vienna was known as the musical capital of the world and home to the musical geniuses of Mozart, Beethoven, Haydn, and Brahms, just to name a few. Today it remains a city of strong musical heritage because of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, the Vienna State Opera and the Music Conservatory. It has also been known for its outstanding cultural and educational institutions, which is evident in its numerous museums and art galleries. Vienna is a relaxed and safe city with sidewalk cafes and beautiful parks.
School Facilities: The Vienna Summer Residential program is offered at a prestigious private school, which was founded by Empress Maria Theresia. The residential facilities which will be the center for language classes and recreational activities has a large park in the middle of campus which has several sport facilities that include football fields, sports grounds, beach volleyball and tennis courts all of which are available for use after language classes. Accommodations offered are dormitory-style shared bedrooms (2-6 students of the same age from different countries) with shared bathrooms located in the hallways. Participants are mixed nationalities mainly from the Europe, with many also from North and South America, Asia, Australia and Africa. 3 meals/day are included.

If such permission is granted, students may leave the campus alone in the afternoons (until 6pm) and/or in the evenings (until 9pm –for those under the age of 16 and 10pm- for those over the age of 16).
An entire team of camp employees including the language teachers (ratio: 1:15) will oversee the day-to-day care, activity and learning for each participant. The Director of the summer camp is present daily to supervise the camp staff and ensure a safe and active learning environment for all camp participants.
