Study abroad Barcelona overview - From its lavish beach to hidden local treasures, Barcelona sprawls from the sunny Mediterranean Sea up to the hills. People from all over the world enjoy the constant buzz of excitement, its professional character and its architectural and artistic prowess, seen in examples like Gaudi´s Sagrada Familia, and both Roman and Gothic architecture. Others enjoy celebrating along the great pedestrian walkway, Las Ramblas or catching live music and performances down on its beaches. Catalan and Spanish are the two official languages in the capital of Catalonia, which often leads to the misconception that Spanish is too difficult to learn where two languages are spoken equally. However, most natives will always address foreigners in Spanish. Students are exposed to so many cultural and linguistic gems that Barcelona is an easy choice for the language traveler. From its dazzling beaches to its ancient castles, Spain is a country as diverse as the cultures which have influenced its art, architecture, music and lifestyle. It is a land where cathedrals and castles are interspersed with skyscrapers, where modern rock mixes with flamenco guitar, and night clubs compete with cozy "tapas" bars. Spain offers some of the world's most famous museums, resorts, and festivals, making it a unique and enchanting destination.

Saturday to Saturday (Tokyo) - all other days will have extra charge
