Study Program Overview
The study abroad program in San Jose offers several different programs of study determined by how each participant combines Spanish classes, electives taught in English, environmental studies courses taught in English and electives taught in Spanish. Students choose from the 12 week semester, 4 week short-term or one of several summer programs. Although most students choose to participate in the study abroad options with other Americans and international students, advanced Spanish students may enroll in the university's regular 15-week courses (Art, Design or Architecture) with Costa Rican students.
